We are Petra, Jan and Stella

A small family with a big love for the outdoors.

Our journey began with hiking when we first met, and as we grew together, so did our passion for exploring the outdoors. What started as weekend hikes quickly turned into backpacking trips and eventually ski touring, as we ventured into the wild, stunning landscapes of British Columbia.

Jan’s love for the outdoors began in childhood, spending every summer camping and hiking with his family. Petra has always been the dreamer and explorer at heart — the one who once wanted to be an astronaut and now finds magic in every mountain sunrise.

Together, we found a shared passion for discovering new places, pushing our limits, and embracing the beauty of nature. And now, with our little one Stella joining the team, we’re rediscovering the outdoors through new eyes — slower, simpler, and even more meaningful.

We’ve learned a lot along the way, and here we share our insights, trail stories, and favourite places to help you feel inspired to pack your bag and explore the outdoors — responsibly, safely, and with an open heart. By yourself, or with your family.
